First Post

Hey everybody, I am finally getting on to blog spot and creating our family page. Just in time too. I wanted to make sure that I can send everyone updates on our family before we move. Which by the way is in 3 months! Well Scott leaves sooner then that. For those of you who don't know. Scott enlisted in to the Air Force and reports for basic training on April 7th, 2009. We are starting to get way nervous since he leaves so soon. I guess you can never be prepared for someone leaving. Time is never on your side. We don't know as of yet where we will be stationed but I will post as soon as we know. In the mean time, I will be packing everything up and moving back to Michigan for about 5 or 6 months. I can not wait!! I miss being home so much and I am excited to take Nickolas to a lot of the fun places that I enjoyed growing up. Plus, I am leaving just in time to miss out on the Arizona heat!! I don't know if I could survive one more summer at 115 degrees everyday! I will miss somethings. Like the mountains and the hiking! But most of all Scott's family. But don't worry guys we will be back to visit before you know it. Well so long for now and I promise to keep this up to date. Love you all.

  3. Hey Bethani! I am glad to see everything is going well for you and your family. Preparing for Scott to leave for basic is tough, been there done that. If you have any questions about life as a military wife don't hesitate to ask. Make sure you make your self familiar with all the benefits the military has to offer such as, money for school, discounts on vacations, and childcare just to name a few. The first few months are tricky as you accustom yourself to life in the military. I am sure you will like it though as it is an opportunity unlike many others where you get to see the world. Good luck! Rachale
