Vegas Vacation February 2009

The Halls in Vegas

Okay our Vegas vacation was so much fun. It was awesome to visit my family and spend the weekend with them. Firstly though, on our way to Vegas we stopped at the Hoover Dam. This was Scott and Nickolas' first time seeing the dam. They both were amazed at how far down the bottom is and how long it takes for your spit to reach the bottom! Nickolas really liked to stand and look over the edge, it was pretty scary but Scott was holding onto him.

There was also this cool looking bridge that will be the new highway when finished. It was interesting to see how they are constructing the two sides to meet over the gorge. Anyways, enough about the dam bridge... lol...

Our family stayed at the Excalibur Hotel, which by the way, is $80 richer due to our losses. Thieves I tell you... but it was way fun. I really like this hotel because it is a castle but my favorite is the Mirage. They have a way awesome pool with water falls and rock cliffs. We went to the Secret Garden at the Mirage to see the animals. They were so fun to watch. Nickolas loved the dolphin show the most.

Nickolas really liked the lion too. Here kitty kitty...

Nickolas and Scott checking out the lions.

These tigers were really fun to watch. They are 10 months old and really playful. They kept pouncing on one another and swimming in their pool.

The white tiger was my favorite. She is beautiful.

The Nagel Gang

My Brother Kyle and Nephew Ethan.

This was our first time meeting baby Ethan. Now each of the Nagel children have one baby, well Kristopher and Natalie are expecting another but the rest of us will catch up sooner or later. Let me tell you, I have never seen two Grandparents more in love and proud of their grand babies, then my parents. They are so good with the kids.

Nickolas and Melodie. He pushed her in that stroller all over the Vegas strip. He is one strong kid and he loves his cousin. Maybe he needs a baby sister soon...

Scott and I were able to get out and spend a night alone. It was our first date in a long time. Next time we wont wait so long. We spent most of our time at the Bellagio Hotel watching the fountains. They are so amazing and the water sounds awesome. You know what I am talking about if you have every watched them.

Scott really liked the butts on this wall... lol... and the boobies...

I think every guy gets their picture taken here. How could they not.

We of course visited the M&M store. Nickolas really liked the part
where you go on the tour of how the M&Ms are made.

Nickolas at the Luxor Hotel. He liked climbing on the sphynx. Well our trip was fun but not long enough of course. We could have spent more time by the pool or seeing more of the hotels but there is just too much to do. Well bye for now and have a good day. Love you guys.

  2. That's funny - the spit thing on the dam - I never ever ever thought to to that. And Scottie's pic between the bust? Hilarious. I've never seen anyone take that picture either. You two. ;O)
