Halloween Fun

Last Saturday was the annual Nagel pumpkin carving contest. I haven't been able to make it the last 4 years because we were in Arizona, so I was so excited this year that I as going to be here long enough. Our family meets at my aunt Cindy's house and then we head on over to the pumpkin patch. This patch has so many things to do other then just finding the perfect pumpkin. As you can see in the pictures there are lots of things for kids to climb on. They have corn mazes and hay tunnels for the kids. It is great. So we all found our pumpkins and then head back to Cindy's house to let our creative juices start flowing!

Let me tell you this family really gets into craving pumpkins. Nickolas had a blast too, it was his first year to understand what was going on with the pumpkins. Papa helped him carve his pumpkin into a spider. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.

So after all the pumpkins are carve, the voting begins! And the WINNER is...
ME and my bear pumpkin!!
