Easter 2010 (better late than never)

Easter this year was wonderful. We were able to go to an Easter egg hunt with the squadron. It was nice to meet some new people and make some friends. Nickolas had fun because they had a jumpy castle and a large playground. The other thing that was neat this year was the fact that Nickolas kinda gets what the Easter Bunny means. Well, he just knows that he bring him candy and he likes that.

It was really fun to see the kids run after eggs. I would say that there were 60 children under the age of 3. They had all the children line up and then just let them go. At first they were bumping into one another and falling down because they didn't really know what was going on. After they saw what was in the grass... candy... they got it. Then it became a battle of who could get more. It was just a fun sight to see.

Later that evening we colored eggs, which to Nickolas, was the coolest thing ever! He was so excited for the Easter Bunny to hide them in the morning. It was really nice to have an enjoyable time together as a family. We wish we could have been with more family and shared the holiday with them but maybe next time.
