Update on Basic Training

I received an email today from the missionaries in Scott's ward at basic. They wrote about things to expect for graduation and also rules about contacting your trainee. They let us know that as of today his official graduation date will be June 5, 2009, unless something happens to hold him back. I just can't wait to fly out for his graduation, I think in will be so neat to see him do the
Airman's Run and march in to graduation. They also get to take us on a tour of the base to see their bunk where they stayed the whole time and other places. But of course the most important thing is that I get to see Scott!! Yeah only 8
more weeks to go. It was really exciting to hear from the missionaries, to know that Scott is doing well. At the same time it made me more sad and miss Scott even more to see a picture of him. They sent me a picture of the other church members in his unit and him along with a picture of just him. It looks as though Scott might be having a good time since he is the only one smiling in the picture! I have always loved a man in uniform! I will definitely have to get used to the hair... oh wait, what hair?!! He looks so different to me.
I sure hope that the missionaries will continue to send me updates. It is so hard to not be in touch with him right now. Everyday there are so many things that I want to tell him but can't. I try to write those things into a letter but they never seem to come out right. Sheesh... this is harder than I thought it was going to be. I just appreciate my family helping to support me and distract me from missing Scott too much. Thanks guys, I love you. Well I am going to go for now but I will post another update soon. Tomorrow I hope to be posting our Easter hunt pictures, that is, if I get a chance to go back to my brother-in-laws house to pick up my camera that I forgot! oops! Well love you a talk to you soon. Bye.
