Off to Basic Training

Well Scott finally left today. No more waiting around to get on with the next step in our lives. It was really neat to go down to Phoenix to the MEPS office to see him sworn into duty. They had his whole group stand at attention with their right arm raised and had to repeat an oath together. Then they had them all sign their contracts with the Air Force by taking their finger print. I was able to get some pictures, which I will post later but it was really neat. I am going to miss Scott but at the same time I am excited to see how much stronger this makes us. I know that this is the right thing and this is where we are supposed to be but it doesn't make it any easier. It was hard climbing into an empty bed last night. I think that might be playing a role in why I can not sleep now and I am writing about it at 12:20am. Anyways, I will keep everyone posted on Scott's progress. I will get a call from him tomorrow letting me know his mailing address so we can all write to him. We love everyone and miss you. Bye for now.
