So I decided that I needed something to do since I have been terribly bored lately. So I decided to make a new quilt for the baby's room. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted but was sure until I saw this print at the fabric store. I just love chubby jungle animals and anything animal print. So that made my decision on how I wanted to decorate the room. Okay so I liked the animal part of the fabric but nothing else.

So I decided to sew a new border and an ruffles and ribbons. and this is what I came up with...

So this is my finished quilt and I must saw that I am very happy with how it turned out. I also went on to make a bed skirt and a crib bumper. I had an old crib bumper from when Nickolas was a baby, so I just bought some fabric and reupholstered it.

And this is what we got...

Let me tell you, my back hurts from sitting at the sewing machine for so long but it was worth it.
